The wait is finally over; we can all plan our week out to the Chicago Blackhawks schedule!
Starting with a Sunday Funday! Puck drops at 2PM so plan your day drinking accordingly!
A lot of Chicagoans are starting to get nervous about the playoffs- this is what I have come across.
You'll hear stories regarding the Ducks being a super deep team for this playoff run. The pressure is ramped up as a result of being a step from the Stanley Cup Finals. Playeres are getting more tired as their season, which started in October, moves into the middle of May. And the fear of making a mistake is greatly escalated. The Hawks have a plethora of players, who can handle that, as this will be the first conference final for only Andrew Desjardins, Teuvo Teravainen and David Rundblad. This is the first ever conference final appearance for all but four Ducks. (HA!) This is not the Blackhawks first debut, fear not Chicago - They have this handled! Que Chelsea Dagger!!!

Timothy O’Toole’s Annual Golf Outing was successful in raising $2650.00 for Brian Worley’s ALS Fund this past Sunday. Brian was diagnosed with ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig ’s disease, this past April. This disease quickly stole Brian’s ability to walk and recently confined him to a wheelchair.
"Brian is an officer on the Terre Haute Police Department and former handler of two narcotic K9's and an active volunteer at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Center Point, Indiana." He is currently working as a narcotics detective and also served in the Army Reserves for 8 years.
Brian Worley and his wife, Danielle, recently traveled to Las Vegas to renew their vows and celebrate their 10 year anniversary. The couple have 2 children in their mid- 20’s.
All of us at Timothy O'Toole's want to send a sincere thank you to all of the guests of the outing, friends, and family members who have donated to this humble man and loving family.

A FB friend had mentioned that there should be a chicken crawl for people that LOVE the bird! The light bulb went off and the woman decided that she would build it AND her friends would come!

Who would have thought there were so many other uses for beer besides drinking it! Read below to discover 5 trendy uses for O’Toole’s beverage of choice…BEER
1) Want to turn tired soles to frisky toes? The enzymes in beer soften callused feet! Room temperature beer and peppermint tea combined create a soothing soak for your barking dogs.
2) Have a girl who likes DIY projects? Save your old bottles and have her make you a beer chandelier- how awesome would that look in the man cave?
3) Summers coming up… or it should be but Chicago weather makes us no promises. Regardless, it’s going to be time to get your grill on. Make a great meat tenderizer out of a “middle- of- the- road” flavor profile beer. Maybe an amber ale? Add your favorite spices to the marinade, put that puppy in a zip lock plastic bag, shake and let sit for 15 minutes to 1 hour and your all set.
4) Condition your hair in a beer that has lost all of its carbonation.
5) Did your GF spill her red wine on your carpet as her and her friends got rowdy playing Bunko? No Worries, pour a little of your light beer over the spill to pull the stain out, then use a regular carpet cleaner to lift out the liquid and the smell.
Yesterday was a great day to be a “Reg” at Timothy O’Toole’s, as we went down in craft beer history. The first KBS 2014 (Kentucky Breakfast Stout) keg in Chicago was officially tapped at 5:00 pm by none other than the Founder and CEO of Founders Brewing Co. himself, Michael Stevens. As awe inspired patrons stood, in what seemed to be wonder and amazement, the much anticipated KBS was finally flowing.
And a glorious sight it was...
Good form, Stevens, good form.
We enjoyed Stevens’ remarks on all things KBS, but we liked drinking it with him even more.
One event attendee switched his flight to make that Tuesday afternoon one he will remember for the rest of his life… The first time KBS touched his lips.
When asked why he made such a heroic move, he answered, “Everyone talks about this beer, and I have never gotten to try it. I was late to a launch party in the past and the KBS was emptied out, I had no choice but to make it this time.”
Needless to say, the beer was a major hit. So much, that Timothy O’Toole’s was “trending” on the popular social networking site aimed at crafted beer enjoyment, “Untappd”.
Event attendees Tweeted the following

Here’s a fun fact: Did you know that the original Mardi Gras colors and use of beads weren’t meant to be given to full chested, highly- inebriated ladies?
...Purple for justice, gold for power, and green for faith- Glass beads were tossed to the person who exhibited the color’s meaning…
We’ve come a long way ‘Merica.
Here at Timothy O’Toole’s we are passionate about the food we eat and the beers we drink. (When one puts as into one’s body as we do, it better be good!) That is why we dedicate our menus to the most flavorful and juicy items on the market. We have plenty of items for you meat lovers out there. Take our “Big Timmy Challenge” burger for example. This monstrosity comes with 2 half pound burger patties- cooked your way…cheddar, jack, mozzarella, swiss, bacon, onion straws, BBQ sauce….(Takes deep breath)… lettuce, tomato & red onions, all piled high and served with pipin’ hot french fries. This burger is not for the weak hearted, literally.
